Dr Stefan Zagelmeyer

Stefan Zagelmeyer is Reader in Comparative and International Business at Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS), Manchester, UK. Stefan has spent more than half of his life in higher education and research in 16 countries on five continents. At AMBS, he currently holds several leadership roles. He is the Programme Director for the MSc International Business and Management, the Master of Research, and the Research Training Programme for doctoral students. His teaching-related experience extends into MBA teaching, corporate training programmes, and executive education.
Stefan’s research focuses on international business strategy, comparative business and management, international human resource management, and business and human rights. He worked as an external consultant for the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Dublin, Ireland), the European Commission (Brussels, Belgium), the International Labour Organization (Geneva, Switzerland) and the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (Geneva, Switzerland). His contributions have been published in International Business (IB) journals such as the International Business Review, Management International Review, and Critical Perspectives on International Business. His work has also been featured in Human Resource Management (HRM) journals such as the Human Resource Management Journal and the International Journal of Human Resource Management. |
