Prof. Noemi Sinkovics

Noemi Sinkovics (PhD, The University of Manchester, United Kingdom) is Professor of Sustainable and Responsible Business at Newcastle University, United Kingdom and Visiting Professor at the University of Vaasa, InnoLab, Finland. She previously worked at The University of Glasgow, United Kingdom, The University of Auckland, New Zealand and The University of Manchester, United Kingdom.

​Her research focuses on how businesses can balance their social, environmental, and economic objectives. She explores this question through various frameworks, including global value chains, the business-responsibility matrix, business model innovation, and the Sustainable Development Goals. Noemi is Co-Editor-in-Chief for Data in Brief, Associate Editor for Critical Perspectives on International Business and European Management Journal, and serves on several editorial review boards. She is the Chair of the UK and Ireland Chapter of the Academy of International Business and Vice President of the Women in the Academy of International Business Shared Interest Group.
