​Dr Skylar Xue Wan
​Communications Officer

Skylar Xue Wan is a Lecturer in International Business at Leeds University Business School, University of Leeds. Her research examines the microfoundations of international business, with a focus on how boards of directors and executive leaders shape organisational outcomes. She uses big data analytics and machine learning to analyse digital traces of leadership behaviour at scale.

She holds a PhD from TU Dortmund University and was a visiting researcher at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University. Her work has been published in leading journals including the Journal of Management Studies, and has been funded by the Worldwide Universities Network. She is an Advisory Board Member for the UKRI and N8 Digital Research Infrastructure (DRI) Conference, and Academic Lead for the ABCP AI Special Committee.
